This Privacy Policy describes how Vid.GG ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform at vid.gg.

Information We Collect
Account data: name, email address, and profile picture (via Google OAuth).
Payment data: processed by Whop; we receive transaction metadata only (payment ID, amount, status, plan). We do not store credit card details.
Usage data: AI generation history (voice, thumbnails, ideas, niches), credits consumed, login timestamps, and feature interactions.
Content you submit: channel URLs, scripts, prompts, screenshots, community chat messages, support tickets, and "wins" submissions.
Third-party connections: Discord username and ID (if you link your Discord account).

How We Use Your Information
We use your data to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process payments and manage subscriptions; (c) deliver AI generations and store your generation history; (d) operate community features (chat, wins, mentions); (e) send transactional emails and Discord notifications; (f) prevent abuse and enforce fair-use limits; (g) provide customer support.

AI-Generated Content
Prompts and inputs you submit to AI tools may be processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, etc.) subject to their privacy policies. We do not use your generated content to train AI models.

Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Generation history is retained to allow you to revisit past outputs. Upon account deletion, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact support@vid.gg.

Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also collect anonymised analytics events (page views, feature usage) to improve the platform. We do not sell your data or use third-party advertising trackers.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted credentials, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Vid.GG is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Vid.GG operates globally. By using the Service, you consent to your data being processed in the jurisdictions where our processors operate, including the United States and the European Union.
